Semrush – how to select SEO keywords?
Semrush is a tool that allows you to analyze and select relevant SEO keywords and offers other features to improve your online marketing efforts. If you want to learn how to check keywords on your site and your competitors’ sites using Semrush, this article is for you.

Step 1: Log in to Semrush
In order to use Semrush for keyword checking, you must log in. If you don’t already have an account, you need to create one.
Step 2: Select the Organic Search tool
After logging into Semrush, go to the Organic Research tab from the main menu on the left. You’ll find it in the Market Research (Competitive Research) section.
In the English version it looks like this:
Step 3: Enter the website URL
Enter the URL of the site you want to examine in the Domain Analysis field and click the Search button.

Step 4: Review the results
Semrush will generate a report with the results for the analyzed site. In the Organic Search Positions section, you will find a list of keywords that generate traffic from search results. The list is organized by the page’s position in search results and the number of monthly searches for each keyword.
Step 5: Competitor analysis
To research keywords for competitors, go to Organic Research and enter the URL of a competing site. Semrush will generate a results report for that site, including a list of keywords with which the competing site is getting organic traffic. You can compare these keywords with those that are getting traffic to your site to identify keywords worth including in your marketing campaigns.
It’s also a good idea to use the Keyword Gap feature to see what keywords your competitors are positioning for and you aren’t yet.
